About: There is quite a drop the other side of this fence and the descent down to the beach at Spekes Mill Mouth is fairly steep and not easy in places. In spite of this the beach is very popular with young surfers who literally seem to run up and down comp......

About: Like its near neighbour at Hartland the geology at Spekes Mill Mouth is very interesting. The tide was coming in at quite a speed during our visit and we did not see any surfers in the water but several were making their way to the beach. Apparently ......

About: Aymer cove is looked after by the National Trust and is a fairly secluded cove with views to Burgh Island. The National Trust car park has information boards and a well maintained footpath to get to the beach

About: The light was just starting to fade when this atmospheric photograph was taken. On the day that we visited the sea was flat calm but we only saw one person brave enough to go for a swim.
