About: Lee Bay is located 2 miles west of Illfracombe and when the tide is out there are absolutely hundreds of rock pools and gaps in the rocks and little passageways between the rocks to explore and search for crabs etc.

About: After a breach and a loss of sand at the Dawlish Warren in 1963 and 1964 a series of timber groynes and gabion basket were added to the beach by The Environment Agency to try help promote a healthy beach and dune system.

About: When we went to Mill Bay beach we found that it was a dog friendly beach which was a bonus for us as we take the mixed up collie everywhere. We did not see the person fishing catch anything but what a delightful spot to enjoy your sport.
