Rocky Points on the Headland

About: The rock-spined headland of Start Point is clad in bracken and right at the end is the lighthouse. Five ships were wrecked on one awful night in 1891 but now the lighthouse is strategically placed to guard the treacherous rocks.

About: The sun was just about to disappear behind a bank of cloud when we took this photograph of Brixham lighthouse on the breakwater. All the way to the lighthouse there were anglers catching mackerel and on this particular evening there were a lot a fish......
