Sheep on the Green

About: These sheep seemed quite content to pose and have their photograph taken. The green at Stokenham looks luscious but for once these sheep stopped grazing and just looked at the camera.

Ewes Looking at You

About: All these sheep are ewes their horns are relatively small but the rams also have horns and they are stronger and longer in size. The sign says the sheep are timid and while we took their photograph they just looked on in a disinterested fashion.

Wild Flowers on Sexton Burrow

About: On our very pleasant walk out to the Lookout Tower at the end of Sexton Burrow we saw lots of clumps of this very pretty white flower. This side of Watermouth Cove is exposed to the elements but these blooms seem to be well adapted.

About: Stoke Gabriel has much to offer any visitor but anyone interested in bird watching is in for a treat. The trees around the waters edge are home to any number of different species and the ducks are so tame they come right to your feet.
