About: The reflection of the setting sun on the line of rocks at Croyde makes a great foreground to the photograph. Croyde is a very well known surfing beach and even though the waves were not that high there were still people in enjoying themselves.

About: The island of Lundy can just be spotted in this photograph highlighted on the horizon by the band of pink under the clouds. We have never visited Lundy but have often viewed it through binoculars and one day we will make the journey

About: The dramatic clouds make this photograph of the sun setting off Hartland Quay, it was not a fiery red sunset but nevertheless the effects made our journey worthwhile

About: The pinky clouds of the setting sun and the illuminated cliffs gave the bay a wonderful atmospheric light. September and very early October yielded some of the best weather for the year and made a welcome break from the rain.

Late Evening at Barricane Beach

About: This was the second trip that we made to Barricane Beach in the same day and we were rewarded with a lovely sunset. The jagged rocks make a perfect line to add interest to the photograph.
