About: When we went to Mill Bay beach we found that it was a dog friendly beach which was a bonus for us as we take the mixed up collie everywhere. About: The ruins of Salcombe Castle can be seen from Mill Bay beach. About: The sand at Mill Bay beach is soft and almost powdery but it is fairly easy to walk on and like many others before us we went for a long walk by the river and enjoyed the views across to Salcombe.
