About: Even on an overcast day like this one the Headland at Berry Head looks a picture. There is a lot to see here and it is an interesting place with the fort remains etc for families but care should always be exercised near the edges of the cliff.

About: The towering cliffs at Berry Head rise majestically above the deep blue sea and make interesting patterns with the various types of rock of different colours. The tripod and camera were held at a precarious angle to get this particular photograph.

About: The remains of the fort and the lighthouse on Berry Head can just be seen in this dramatic photograph of the headland. On the day that we visited it was very windy but it was possible to find shelter in the various ruins and one side of the headland ......

Cannon At Berry head

About: One of the cannons at the Northern fort on Berry Head. The fortifications date back to the time of the French wars of 1793 - 1815. The guns were intended to defend Tor bay from invasion.
