About: The river Meavy begins just west of Princetown on Dartmoor and then carries on south until it is dammed to form the Burrator reservoir. From here it flows past the villages of Meavy, Hoomeavy and Goodameavy and at Shaugh bridge it joins the river Plym to finally reach Plymouth
