About: The view of the River Yelm was ever changing as the tide was coming in at quite a rate of knots. It is a very good idea to know your tide tables when visiting the twin villages of Noss Mayo and Newton Ferrers as it is possible to cross the river on stepping stones at low tide but this avenue is quickly cut off by the incoming tide.
