About: Milton Combe at the beginning of the twentieth century boasted a Church, a Wesleyan Chapel, an Infant School, a Men's Reading Room, a Post Office, several shops and two pubs. Sadly today, all that remains in this pretty village are the Church, a Village Hall based in the old school building and a Pub with an unusual name.
