About: Castle Drogo has a fine formal garden which was designed by Lutyens. The planting in the garden was organised by Gertrude Jekyll. This circular croquet lawn was a joy to see and during our visited we witness two gardeners painstakingly digging out the weeds from the edge of the lawn.
