About: The coast path between Spekes Mill Mouth and Hartland takes about twenty minutes and this is the best way to visit the area. There is a parking area near the top of the cliff but the approach road is very rough and a problem for most cars. During one of our visits we saw a long stretch of oil from a vehicle that must have hit one of the larger obstacles on the treacherous road.
