About: The Queens Arms at Slapton is reported to be well known for its friendly atmosphere and good food. Slapton is a relatively small village but it does have two very pretty pubs which hopefully will keep trading as it has recently been reported in the Telegraph that "Britain is losing 36 pubs every week - or more than five a day - as the crisis in the licensed trade deepens, according to a new report."
