About: The Severn class Torbay Lifeboat named RNLB Alec and Christina Dykes in memory of Mrs Helen Christina Dykes, was placed on operational duty on the 1st November 2001. During her commissioning period the lifeboat spent time at the Southampton Boat Show and visited the River Thames.
